    Can. Not. Wait.

  • Friend:
    For what?

  • Me:
For the new season of Sherlock. I need me some more Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch cruising 'round London deducing shit.

  • Friend:
Wait, what was that guy's name?

  • Me:
    Be-ne-di-ct Cum-ber-bat-ch.

  • Friend:
*laughs* That sounds like an old muffin recipe. Betty Crocker's Cumberbatches.

S1E02 ‘The Blind Banker’

“Futility: when the stupid just doesn’t go away.”
Me and a friend talking about ‘Frankenstein’ on facebook when this little beauty pops up. Decidedly, I had to share it. Because it is true. That is all.
‘Frankenstein’

The performance I saw tonight was amazing. I’ve read the book, and loved the book, and I didn’t know how this adaptation was going to go, but wow. That’s all I can say at this moment in time. Wow. It was spectacular, though of course that is just my opinion.

Johnny Lee Miller as the Creature was unbelievable. He brought such a heart-wrenching realism to the character, particularly to begin with when the Creature was still learning to walk and speak.

Secondly, Benedict Cumberbatch as Victor Frankenstein. Skipping over the fact that I kind of have a bit of a crush on this man, his performance was outstanding. He successfully portrayed the fragility of Victor’s brilliant mind, in my opinion.

I could go on and on about it, but really one can only get a true appreciation for the play if they go and see it.
